What are the Open Studios?
Isle of Wight Open Studios encourages artists to open their creative spaces to the public for specific days over a three week period. A regional brochure will be produced when individual artists have registered on the Open Studios website and will be reproduced here.
When?
This year Open Studios will span three weekends from Friday, 23rd August to Sunday, 8th September. Artists can choose when to open their studios to the public during that time.
Why?
This is an opportunity to visit an artist’s practice and workspace to learn more about how and why they create in the way they do, and it’s free although work will also be for sale.
