The paintings are graphic combinations of original characters from period comic books plus the occasional other ‘found’ and stylised ‘real-life’ depictions. The character juxtapositions in the paintings are my own invention and never occurred in any of the original comic books,

The resulting images are about relationships, communication, interplay, exchanges and reactions to implied situations.
